Build and deploy your own AI agent using templates or from scratch, no coding needed.
What is the Agent Builder?
The Agent Builder lets you create a fully configured AI assistant for your business in 3 steps — no coding required. Once deployed, your agent can be embedded on any website as a chat widget.
Step 1 — Choose a template
Go to AI Agents → Build an Agent.
You'll see 8 industry templates and a blank scratch option:

Click Use template on any card to proceed.
Step 2 — Configure your agent
Fill in three fields:
- Business Name — your company's name (e.g. "Smith & Co Dental")
- Agent Name — what your agent calls itself (e.g. "SmithBot")
- Description — describe your agent in plain English. The more detail you provide, the better. Example:
"You are a support agent for Smith & Co Dental in London. Help patients book appointments, answer questions about NHS and private treatments, explain pricing for fillings (£80) and whitening (£350), and collect contact details for new patient enquiries."
Then click Compile Agent with AI. Our AI reads your inputs and generates a full, production-ready system prompt — you don't need to write any AI prompts yourself.
After compilation you'll see a live preview on the right. Type a test message to see your agent in action before deploying.
Step 3 — Deploy your agent
Click Deploy Agent. Your agent is now live and assigned a unique widget ID.
Plan limits apply at deploy time:
- Free users — no deployment (upgrade required)
- Starter plan — 1 active agent at a time
- Pro plan — unlimited active agents
Once deployed you're taken to My Agents where you can find your embed code, manage leads, and add documents to your knowledge base.
Editing or rebuilding an agent
Currently, agents cannot be edited after deployment. To update your agent:
- Go to My Agents and delete the old agent
- Build a new one with your updated description
This ensures your compiled system prompt is always fresh and consistent.
AI compilation explained
When you click "Compile Agent with AI", our system:
- Takes your business name, agent name, description, and template type
- Sends them to our AI (GPT-5.6) with a specialist prompt engineering instruction
- The AI generates a comprehensive system prompt covering: tone of voice, knowledge areas, how to handle edge cases, when to escalate, and your business-specific details
- The compiled prompt is saved and used every time a visitor chats with your widget
The compilation typically takes 5–15 seconds.
